Fredrik was appointed Chief Representative of SEB Merchant Banking in Beijing in August 2006. Prior to this he has held a number of positions within SEB. Amongst them, Head of Trading and Capital Markets in Hong Kong from 1991 to 1994 and the same position in Singapore from 1994 to 1998 and in Oslo from 1998 to 2000. In 2000 he took up a position as Client Executive within Client Relationship Management at the Head Office in Stockholm and in 2003 a position as Debt Originator at TCM Capital Markets.

General Manager of Government and Public Affairs of Ericsson Greater China.
1971-1973, studied Swedish language and international policy at Beijing University for Foreign Language Studies; 1974-1976, got Swedish scholarship granted by Swedish Government and studied Nordic literature at Stockholm University.
Since 1976 served for several Chinese authorities as CPC International Department,Foreign Ministry, Trade Union, Tourist Administration etc.
1984-1986 and 1990-1994,  served at Chinese Embassy in Sweden as 3rd, 2nd and 1st Secretary.
Joined Ericsson China February 1995.
April 2001, received the degree of the Master of International Management by Australian National University.

Lars Olofsson - SAS
 
Lars Olofsson was appointed general manager and chief representative of SAS China in October 2009. He has extensive aviation and tourism experience having previously held senior positions within the Asia/Pacific rim, with SAS Australia/New Zealand, World Aviation Systems (a tourism representation company), Air New Zealand and Ansett Australia. Lars was also director of the Swedish-Australia Chamber of Commerce 2008-2009.  He obtained his graduate diploma in Tourism Management from The University of Technology, Sydney.

Jan Szaruk - Syntronic
 
Jan has been working in China since 1998. He started at the Ericsson mobile phone factory in Nanjing as Production Director. After 4.5 years, and 15 years within Ericsson, Jan moved to Beijing and a position as General Manager for the Finnish company Elcoteq, and later on as General Manager for Engineering Services Asia at the same company. In 2008, Jan joined Syntronic Beijing R&D Technology Centre as General Manager.

Birgitta Söderström - Thomas International
 
Birgitta Söderström is a northern Swedish native who has been living, studying and working in various parts of the world. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication from New York University and a Masters degree in International Relations from University of New England. Previous to moving to Beijing she lived in Guangzhou where she coordinated the start-up of the Swedish Chamber while also working part-time as an executive coach at an American MNC. Birgitta currently works as a Senior HR Consultant at Thomas International/Martinsen Group in Beijing.
Birgitta joined the Swedish Chamber Beijing Chapter since the autumn of 2010.

Jimmy Xue - Swedish Space Corporation


Jimmy Xue, Chief Representative of Swedish Space Corp Beijing Office. He got his bachelor degree in Satellite Operation and Controls in 1991 and won his MBA degree from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in 2006.
He is a self-motivated professional and salesman, with 20 years satellite engineering, marketing & sales experiences in mainland China and Hong Kong.
Jimmy joined the Swedish Chamber Beijing Chapter since the spring of 2011.

Thomas Bjork - ABB


Thomas Bjork was born in Lima, Sweden (a very small place close to Sälen) and studied Electrical Engineering (Elektro 180p) at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. He started as an executive trainee at ABB 2000. He was assigned to start up a Joint Venture for  ABB in Beijing and also to work as ABB's HVDC Representative in China. He worked as the Technical Manager for HVDC in China until September last year when he took over as Head of ABB FACTS in China.
